dc.description.abstractWe conducted from 1 January to 28 February 2015 a descriptive cross-sectional study single pass in ten panning for gold in the circle of Kenieba. This study was overall objective to assess the knowledge, attitudes and sexual behavior of miners for STIs and AIDS in gold-washing areas Keniéba circle. male participants were the majority in 93% of cases, the highest number of participants was 15 to 20 years in 87% of cases, HIV and AIDS is cited in 98.5% of cases as STIs, and 97.5% of the cases cited the use of condoms as a prevention, but despite this only 14% of patients had used at first intercourse, the first source of information revealed by the participants was the talk in 77.5% of cases.
